ABOUT

I was born and raised in Montana where I’ve always had a love for the outdoors.  The Big Sky Country always provided such beautiful scenery.  It was an easy place for me to pick up my dad’s camera and find inspiration all around.  Eventually my hobby for taking pictures turned into my focus at school.  I was lucky enough to be surrounded by instructors that nurtured my love of photography.  During my second year at Northwest College in Powell, WY, I had the opportunity to study abroad in China.  This sparked my love for travel and exploration.

These days I travel and explore with my wife Melissa.  We love to explore by eating and photographing our way through new cities all over the world. I try to infuse my work with inspiration from my travels and other artists I meet along the way.  As a photographer I continually challenge myself to paint with light and give even the simplest subjects richness and depth.

I currently reside in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with Melissa and our dog Carson.
